The New International Center for Meditation & Well Being
Set in the majestic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Boone, North Carolina, the Art of Living Foundation’s new International Center for Meditation and Well-Being is already a place of uplifting spiritual energy and serenity. The 381-acre facility was purchased in October 2011, by Ved Vignan Mahavidyapeeth (The Institute for Vedic Sciences), a partner of the Art of Living Foundation and the International Association for Human Values.
The International Center will offer self-development and wellness programs for people of all ages, and serve as center for the nonprofit service work for the three partner organizations and their affiliates. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader, and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, envisions the Center to serve as a platform to sustain and strengthen human values. The Center will host events and programs that strengthen both individuals and the underlying bond we share as human beings.
